Our in-door Walking Program is located at the Northpark Mall, in Ridgeland, MS
Saturday mornings at 9 AM.
NOTE: This weekly event is free to the public, and does not require any form of registration prior to attending.
This safe environment will serve as a positive influence for increased participation, including a controlled area for walking, scheduled dates, and an on-site coordination staff for set-up and tear-down of the activities.
The Mississippi Obesity Society welcomes potential partnerships in this endeavor for a collaborative effort for a more successful overall healthier community.

With over 500 attendees expected, it promises to be a day filled with fun and fitness! What's Happening? Kicking off with a refreshing morning walk at 9 AM, expect an exciting lineup of activities and valuable resources for all ages! From spirited easy fitness to dental and vision exams provided by dedicated healthcare professionals, the Back to School Bash offers something for everyone. Gifts and Giveaways! Want gift cards and exclusive savings for your favorite Northpark shops? Engage in the entertaining games offered and win big prizes for the Mall’s diverse stores. You can also participate or cheer on participants in the fashion show hosted by Dillard's Store in the Center Court of NorthPark Mall! Collaboration for an Impact. We are proud to team up with Magnolia Insurance Company, personnel from Crunch Fitness, and local healthcare organizations within our community to launch this wonderful program. This diverse group of partners ensures that the Back to School Bash will offer a wide range of resources and information for attendees to benefit from.
